Finally – CeCe Peniston

Finally was released in 1991 reaching the top five of the Hot 100 in January of 1992. It spent two weeks at number 1 on the US dance charts in late 1991. This song still gets people on the dance floor and exemplifies 90s dance music. Singer CeCe Peniston was just 21 years old when it was released. Finally was the first song she ever wrote, and also also her biggest hit. There are many dance remixes to choose from, but I’m a traditionalist. Happy Throwback Thursday:
