Shockandawe – Miguel

As I mentioned in my review earlier today, this song reminds me of an N.E.R.D. song in the best possible way. It’s rhythmic beat and chorus reek of a badass attitude, ‘Bang bang, baby, break yourself / Lose control when I take the world / I dropped the bomb / Did I take your bomb? /Just shock and awe / Better brace yourself’. It’s made for dancing, strutting, and getting ready for a fun night out. Since it’s Friday, I can’t think of a better track for the Song of the Day. Miguel is bringing a different energy with this one and I’m here for it!
